Four LED lighting companies were selected as the top 500 most valuable brands in China in 2020

The 17th World Brand Conference, hosted by the World Brand Lab, was held in Beijing on August 5th. The conference released the 2020 "China's Top 500 Most Valuable Brands" analysis report. In this annual report, based on financial data, brand strength, and consumer behavior analysis, the State Grid Corporation of China topped the list of the most valuable brands this year with a brand value of 503.687 billion yuan. Also ranking among the top five are Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (450.582 billion yuan), Haier (428.652 billion yuan), Tencent (421.549 billion yuan), and China Life Insurance (415.861 billion yuan). These brands have already entered the ranks of world-class brands.

This is the 17th year that the World Brand Lab has compiled the China Brand Report. In 2004, the entry threshold was only 500 million yuan, and the average value of the top 500 brands was 4.943 billion yuan. Seventeen years later, in 2020, the entry threshold has risen to 2.716 billion yuan; the average value of the top 500 brands has reached 49.384 billion yuan, an increase of 899.07%. This year's World Brand Conference theme is "How Brands Can Grow Against the Tide in the Global Pandemic".

In the lighting industry, NVC Lighting has once again ranked among the top lighting companies in the "China's Top 500 Brands Ranking" for the ninth time, with a brand value of 37.956 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 16%.

OPPLE Lighting was once again selected with a brand value of 24.632 billion yuan, ranking 270th on the list, a year-on-year increase of 14%.

Foshan Lighting has been selected for the "China's Top 500 Most Valuable Brands" list for many consecutive years, with a brand value of 18.236 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 15.48%, ranking 323rd.

DeBang Lighting ranked 342nd in the "China's Top 500 Most Valuable Brands" with a brand value of 17.268 billion yuan.
