LED filament bulbs continue to sell well in Europe and the United States. Following the launch of four LED filament bulbs in February, Philips released several new products in May, with retail prices lower than the market average.

Although some chip manufacturers in China continued to increase production capacity in the second quarter, downstream market demand remained strong, resulting in a continued shortage of LED chips. Chip prices remained stable, which in turn helped stabilize domestic LED packaging prices. With prices remaining flat, manufacturers continue to pursue extreme efficiency; several international manufacturers have achieved luminous efficacy of 215-220 lumens per watt for their small-power LED products such as 5630LED and 3030LED.

In the segment replacing 60-watt bulbs, the United States experienced the largest price drop at 5.3%, with many large manufacturers adopting low-price strategies to gain market share. Germany saw a 1.5% price decrease. In Asia, prices in Japan, mainland China, and Taiwan remained relatively stable.

In the segment replacing 40-watt bulbs, prices continued to fall in Europe and the United States in May. The United States saw a 3.3% decrease; Germany saw a 3.5% decrease, with promotions leading to significant price reductions for some products. In Asia, mainland China experienced a 2.8% price drop, with well-known manufacturers such as Philips and Foshan Lighting reducing prices for some products; Japan saw a 3.9% price drop, while prices in Taiwan and South Korea remained stable.
