According to the latest data released by OFweek Industry Research Center's "China LED Lighting Export Monthly Report", in October 2017, China's total export value of LED lighting products reached US \$1.626 billion, a year-on-year increase of 2.8% and a month-on-month decrease of 30.3%. The export volume reached 626 million units/sets, a year-on-year increase of 15.85%. In the first ten months of 2017, the total export value reached US \$17.82 billion, a year-on-year increase of 7.4%, showing an overall stable growth trend.

From the perspective of export product breakdown, in October, the export value of bulb lamps was the highest at US\$299 million, accounting for 27.03% of the total exports; main export destinations include the United States, Brazil, Japan, Russia, and France. Next is ceiling lights, with an export value of US\$192 million, accounting for 17.41%; the top five export destinations are the United States, Vietnam, the United Kingdom, Malaysia, and Japan. Panel lights ranked third with an export value of US\$110 million, accounting for 9.97%; mainly exported to the United States, Singapore, the United Kingdom, India, and Germany.
Details of Industrial Clusters
From the perspective of industrial clusters, the top three export regions are Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and Ningbo, with export values and proportions of US\$363 million (22.39%), US\$161 million (9.91%), and US\$155 million (9.56%) respectively. The top five export cities account for 52.77%, and the top ten export cities account for 69.87%, indicating that the concentration of the LED lighting product industry remains high.

In October, the top three export destinations were the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany. Specifically:
The United States ranked first with an export value of US\$366 million, consistently significantly ahead of other countries/regions, accounting for 22.5%. Cumulative exports in the first ten months of 2017 reached US\$4.894 billion. Products exported to the United States mainly include: bulb lamps, tubes, solar lamps, strips/tapes, spotlights, downlights, panel lights, etc.
The United Kingdom ranked second with US\$70.54 million, accounting for 4.34%, with a cumulative export of US\$883 million in the first ten months of 2017; products exported to the United Kingdom mainly include: ceiling lights, bulb lamps, panel lights, downlights, solar lamps, etc.
Germany ranked third in October, with an export value of US\$63.84 million, accounting for 3.9%, with a cumulative export of US\$926 million in the first ten months of 2017. Products exported to Germany mainly include: bulb lamps, ceiling lights, panel lights, strips/tapes, and tubes.
Details of Exporting Companies
In October 2017, the top 10 companies' total export value reached US\$153 million, accounting for only 9.38%, indicating that the overall industry concentration is relatively low and competition is fierce.
From the perspective of exporting companies, in October, the top exporter was Zhangzhou Lida Lighting Electronics Technology Co., Ltd., with total exports of US\$38.77 million, a year-on-year decrease of 15%, maintaining its top ranking for three consecutive months. Its top three export destinations are the United States, Japan, and Germany. Zhangzhou Lida's product line is relatively concentrated, with over 80% of its exports being bulb lamps and downlights.
Ranked second is Zhejiang Hengdian Debang Import and Export Co., Ltd., with exports of US\$22.95 million, a year-on-year decrease of 26%. Its top three export destinations are the United States, Brazil, and Japan. Nearly 60% of Hengdian Debang's exports are bulb lamps.
Ranked third is Xiamen Sunny Ennai Lighting Co., Ltd., with an export value of US\$18.21 million, a year-on-year decrease of 4%. Its top three export destinations are Poland, France, and Indonesia. Its main export products are bulb lamps (73%), LED tubes (12%), downlights (4.2%), and panel lights (2.6%).
