The press conference also included a roundtable forum session, hosted by He Jin, with Kong Ying, Shi Chong, Yang Jianjun, and Zhou Guoming discussing domestic and international industry development trends.

He Jin believes that the pick-and-place technology field is a national heavy equipment because, at the present stage in China, intelligent manufacturing is a major industrial policy and strategy for realizing the Chinese dream. Under this premise, Shenzhen, as the vanguard of the dual-zone strategy, is also the world's largest gathering and production center for electronic terminals. Without SMT technology, electronic products cannot be ultimately formed. So, although it is not as eye-catching as chips, in fact, in all electronic products, such SMT technical link is needed to complete electronic products and modules using equipment, so it occupies a very important position.

Kong Ying explained the current situation from an economic perspective: The trend of de-globalization forces us to shift from an economic development model that previously relied mainly on external demand to domestic demand. According to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council, this is the dual-circulation development strategy with domestic circulation as the main body and international circulation as a supplement. From an industrial perspective: on the one hand, products originally intended for export are now sold domestically, which is called export-to-domestic sales; on the other hand, it is domestic substitution, because China has the most complete industrial chain and is the world's largest manufacturing country. We do have certain advantages in low-end equipment, but for high-end equipment, we mainly rely on imports from abroad.
