After the landscape lighting, another big public LED lighting market struck
Recently, Philips Lighting announced that it will deploy the first batch of Philips CityTouch flex intelligent interconnected road lighting systems in Changzhou and Kunshan, Jiangsu Province, to help the construction of smart cities in the two places.
“The rapid advancement of China's urbanization has directly driven the increase of urban road lighting fixtures, and has spawned the demand for intelligent road lighting management and intelligent lighting asset operation and maintenance. ” Xiang Diming, general manager of Philips Lighting China's professional channels, said that intelligent road lighting has the advantages of nearly complete city coverage and flexible combination of various smart sensors, so that the perception network of smart cities can be constructed simultaneously with the development of the city. And deployment.
The Philips CityTouch flex intelligent interconnected lighting systems used in Changzhou and Kunshan are connected to approximately 230 and 1,300 sets of Philips LED smart street lights, respectively. At present, the two projects have entered the stage of installation and commissioning, and it is expected that the installation and commissioning will be completed in August.
During the Twelfth Five-Year Plan period, smart cities have become one of the national key development plans. At present, my country has issued three batches of smart city pilot projects, involving more than 500 cities, and has issued corresponding plans. The planned investment exceeds 10,000 100 million yuan. Judging from the actual results, smart cities have achieved outstanding results in areas such as government administration, urban transportation, and medical care.
During the
“13th Five-Year Plan” period, as the PPP model continues to be used throughout the country, Internet companies rush to build smart cities, and the big data resources held by government departments continue to be released, the process of my country’s smart city construction will accelerate . During the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period, the output value of smart cities will exceed 700 billion yuan, and it is expected that during the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" period, the output value of smart cities will exceed 4 trillion yuan.
According to the data released by the Advanced Industry Research LED Research Institute (GGII), in the next five years, the construction of smart cities across China will indirectly drive the output value of LED outdoor lighting to nearly 100 billion yuan.
In recent years, the urban public lighting industry has undergone tremendous changes, and the leading downstream customers have changed from commercial real estate to local governments. According to the data released in the 2016 annual report of Leyard, a leading listed company in the lighting engineering industry, the revenue ratio of government agency customers to commercial real estate customers in the Leyard lighting sector in 2014 was 3:7. This number has changed in 2015 and 2016. It became 6:4.
Wisdom+ is also becoming a breakthrough point for LED lighting to extend from traditional simple lighting functional products to high value-added models. The public market may explode before the home consumer market.
Since the beginning of this year, foreign companies represented by Philips Lighting have begun to pay attention to the future of smart interconnection.
On March 23, 2017, Philips Lighting Chief Innovation Officer Qiu Ronghong announced that Philips Lighting and China Mobile have reached a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly explore the Cellular-IoT standard for smart city construction needs. At the China Mobile 5G Joint Innovation Center in Beijing, Philips Lighting’s research team has set up a display of smart connected road lighting applications based on cellular Internet of Things technology.
In May 2017, Philips Lighting took the lead in launching the CityTouch flex intelligent interconnected road lighting system in the Chinese market. The system can not only connect lamps through the existing telecommunications network (GPRS), but also adapt to the narrowband Internet of Things (NB-IoT) that is being vigorously promoted.
While seamlessly docking with the latest Philips LED street lights, Philips CityTouch flex can also adapt to existing road lighting systems to meet the needs of smart city construction in the Internet of Things era faster. In addition to lighting, this open system is more compatible and interoperable with other smart city management systems, which is conducive to building a smart city application ecosystem, improving the overall operation effect, and giving a new definition of smart interconnected lighting.
Philips Lighting has launched the CityTouch smart connected road lighting system since 2014, and it has been successfully used in major cities around the world such as Los Angeles in the United States and Jakarta in Indonesia. It is an important measure to promote the construction of global smart cities. The system integrates professional and efficient intelligent interconnected lighting fixtures, data communications, intuitive and easy-to-use cloud service software platform and professional services, making the management of urban lighting more energy-efficient, efficient and user-friendly.
